Houses

Laws pertaining to Houses:

1.To establish a new House in Woodhaven:
Within the walls of Woodhaven, there are always a few unoccupied Houses. A petition to the Administrator and High Council can be made if you desire to open a new House within the City Walls and acquire one of the structures with the option of remodeling for your House needs. It may be possible to build a new House on an available plot of land, but those plots may be smaller and not as valuable as the areas where structures already exist. They will then review the petition, taking into account several factors: length of time the House Leader has been a Citizen, ongoing participation in Woodhaven (both Caste wise and socially), and ongoing commitment to the City in general.

Each new House that is allowed to open, will be put upon a probationary status for a period of 3 mun months. At this time, the High Council will be ensure that the continued practice of the above mentioned factors are occurring.

It is unlikely that a new House would be allowed to open when one is of guest status who is desiring such. It can happen, though the Administrator may set a longer duration of probation for the House and its members before full Citizenship is granted. During the probation, the City and the House may at any time choose to sever the relationship.

If a House is more of an individual residence, rather than a House acquiring additional citizens, at the discretion of the Administrator and High Council, probationary periods may be waived.

Should a House Leader be killed, collared, MIA, voluntarily depart Woodhaven, or fail to meet the City law regulating individual participation, the Administrator will determine the continued existence of the House with new Leadership or the absorption of House members into other existing Houses. Those of the House, have the right to petition the High Council of their desire to take over the roll of House Leader. In the case of the House Leader departing Woodhaven and changing his status of Citizenship, the property will revert back to City ownership unless a House member petitions for leadership of the House and thus the House goes to him. However, any new House Leader will undergo a probationary period of 3 mun months to ensure that the House will maintain active involvement within the City.

Woman are allowed to run a House within Woodhaven, however, it is with the understanding that she has an acting En Sword at all times within the House, who will work with her as an Advisor. 10.15.03

The Administrator may seize a property at any time for the betterment of the City.
